I was looking for something that had an option for a counterweight and an adjustable footplate to accommodate different users. This has two start positions, the safety is adjustable and there’s a lot of room on the plate for different foot positions, so no issues going between someone at 6’5″ and 5’4″. The machine feels great, the length on the pendulum is right and is awesome for quads. Also hits glutes/hamstrings with a wide stance. Footprint is probably comparable to a leg press, you can also using some of the 1″ holes for equipment storage (see leg rollers in the pic). Plate storage pegs weren’t mounted save space, since my plates are stored on a rack nearby.

I was looking for something that had an option for a counterweight and an adjustable footplate to accommodate different users. This has two start positions, the safety is adjustable and there’s a lot of room on the plate for different foot positions, so no issues going between someone at 6’5″ and 5’4″. The machine feels great, the length on the pendulum is right and is awesome for quads. Also hits glutes/hamstrings with a wide stance. Footprint is probably comparable to a leg press, you can also using some of the 1″ holes for equipment storage (see leg rollers in the pic). Plate storage pegs weren’t mounted save space, since my plates are stored on a rack nearby.

Fit was literally perfect, didn’t have to fight with anything for alignment. Powder coat had zero damage. I have racks from Rogue and Rep, and a few 3×3 uprights from BoS, this is at the top as far as quality. Assembly was straightforward if you’ve put together other gym equipment. It can all be done solo if you’re determined but you’ll probably want someone else on hand to mount the pendulum arm.

It does take a little time to get used to, because your standing can be a natural quad hit, but as you play with it, and think hip thrust, once you get the right form your butt will be sore for days, hits totally different than a lying barbell hip thrust.

This has two start positions, the safety is adjustable and there’s a lot of room on the plate for different foot positions, so no issues going between someone at 6’5″ and 5’4″. The machine feels great, the length on the pendulum is right and is awesome for quads. Also hits glutes/hamstrings with a wide stance. Footprint is probably comparable to a leg press, you can also using some of the 1″ holes for equipment storage (see leg rollers in the pic). Plate storage pegs weren’t mounted save space, since my plates are stored on a rack nearby.
